Kitty Bark is a character I created back in the 80s during my early days as a cartoonist. I got the idea that I needed to have a cartoon character, so along came Kitty Bark, the Mixed-Up Girl. She's an alter-ego, part cat, part dog. She is a very direct, plucky type that's always raring to go. Sometimes her arm falls off, which is something she just has to deal with. It doesn't stop her, just leads to creative thinking.

Kitty is a capable sort, a bottom line cope-r, a problem solver who cuts to the chase - except for her history regarding the doggie boys. Those messes she has been steadily cleaning up for years. Nowadays, she knows better.
